Details for Consigning:
You iron, tag and price your clothes. You receive 60% of the total sale of the items sold, and Busy Bird will retain the remaining 30%. A good rule of thumb is to price your items at 30%-40% of the original retail value. Pricing and tagging your items appropriately is money in the bank for you! You set the price on all items, so price to sell. Use $1.00 increments (not .50 or .99). For example if your item retailed for $50.00 and is in near-perfect condition, price it between $15-$20. Busy Bird prides itself on its high quality inventory, so please consider only those items that you would purchase yourself. See Tagging Information page for tagging details.
Consignors Shop Early:
Consign with Busy Bird and you will be able to invite two friends to shop early for the sale! Doors will open to consignors and two friends before the sale.
Return Option:
If you would like the clothes back that did not sell, mark your tag with an "R." Busy Bird will hold the clothes for you for pick up at the end of the sale. Pick up time at the end of the sale on Saturday. Any items not picked up at that time will become property of Busy Bird.
